One of our own is getting ready for the ride of a lifetime! Meet Jeff Weidow, our Ford Director of Fixed Operations. His mission is simple, "Inspire others to ride bikes while cultivating their best mental health and wellness". Starting April 1st, Jeff Weidow and long-time friend Jack Jones will set off from San Diego, CA and head east along the Southern Tier bike route of the United States, in effort to arrive in St. Augustine, FL in just 30 DAYS!

Along the way they are hoping to raise awareness and funds for children with cancer! They hope their adventure will inspire others to make a difference in a child's life and help others create an adventure of their own.

Here at St. Marys Auto Group, we are not letting him do this alone! For every new and pre-owned vehicle we sell during the month of April we will be donating $25 to Project Pedal in effort to support Jeff and Jack's mission! We will also be sharing updates and tracking his progress across the USA on our Facebook Pages!

This month we stopped by the Service Department to put the spotlight on our Director of Fixed Operations, Bill Wolfe! Bill is an extraordinary example of what hard work, determination, and perseverance can get you. At an early age, Bill learned a great deal about cars from his dad and he discovered his passion was in automotive. After graduating from the Ridgway High School he began his automotive education and attended the GM ASEP Program where he graduated top of his class and received his certification in Automotive Technology and an Associates Degree of Science. After graduation he started at the Wilcox Garage as an automotive technician and now, 20 years later he is running one of the area's premier Auto Group's Parts and Service departments. Along with his dedication to our customer satisfaction he is always around to boost morale with his one-of-a-kind "dad jokes"! If you know Bill, or have had the pleasure of working with him, you know his passion for the Automotive Industry isn't a 9-5 and he'll do whatever he can for our customers no matter what it takes!

Years at the Dealership: I have been with St. Marys Auto Group for 20 years.

What has the last 20 years looked liked at St. Marys Auto Group?: I started my career with St. Marys Auto Group as an Automotive Technician. Through a lot of hard work and dedication I became a Master Automotive Technician, Shop Foreman, World Class Technician, Service Manager, and now the Director of Fixed Operations and oversee the entire Auto Group.

What does the Direct of Fixed Operations do?: I oversee the parts and service department for St. Marys Auto Group. Continuously working to improve our customers' experience.

What are you most proud of throughout your time at the dealership? Throughout my 20 years I have built many personal relationships with our customers which have become friends.

What does your life look like outside of the dealership? I enjoy cheering on my daughter and supporting her year-round sports and activities! I also enjoy fishing, golfing, camping and shooting pool. I am active in the recreational youth soccer program as President.

What is your favorite part about our service department? Here at St. Marys Auto Group, we take pride in our family atmosphere which allows us to build life-long relationships with our customers.

What is one piece of advice you have for keeping your vehicle in tip top shape? REGULARLY SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE! REGULARLY SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE! REGULARLY SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE!

What is one piece of advice you have for kids interested in the Automotive Industry? The entre industry has a lot to offer, look to specialize in what interests you.

For those of you who do not know, Sierra is a part of our Customer Care Center and is an overall kind, honest, hardworking and valued team member. First and foremost, Sierra is a mother, a wife, a daughter, a twin, a coworker, and an unbelievable friend. But unfortunately, Sierra is also battling one of the deadliest forms of skin cancer. Sierra is currently enrolled in a clinical trial, and receiving immunotherapy every three weeks along with CT scans every three months in Pittsburgh.

They say at the end of the day you spend more time with your coworkers than you do your own family. Here at St. Marys Auto Group we are family and believe in not only celebrating each other's wins in life but also supporting each other through the dark times too.
